Boarding, Training and Lessons for Eventing and Dressage in Los

Barn Policies
Goldspirit Farm is a private boarding and training facility. Membership
is required with a nominal one-time fee. Any and all rules at
Goldspirit Farm are for the safety and well-being of the horses and
riders. We appreciate that all members gladly and easily abide by
these rules.
- There is no smoking allowed
anywhere on the property. Any smoking must be done off-site or in
your car in the parking lot only.
- Any person handling or riding a horse must
complete and sign a liability release and a rider form.
- Helmets must be worn at all times when riding a
horse. Riders under the age of eighteen must wear an approved
ASTM/SEI helmet with the chinstrap properly attached while riding.
- You
must have supervision when jumping. You may not jump when there
is no one else on the property. No one under the age of eighteen
may jump within an adult in the arena.
- Any person handling a horse must wear safe
footwear. No open toed shoes are allowed in any horse area,
including but not limited to, the barns, cross-ties, and riding arenas.
- Dogs are welcome. They must stay out of
stalls, turn-out rings, and riding arenas. Any dog that bites or
attacks any person or horse is not allowed on the premises.
- The rules of conservation (reduce, reuse, recycle)
must be practiced here. Please deposit recyclable items in the
appropriate containers; conserve your use of water; and turn off lights
when not in use.
- When others are waiting for a turn-out ring,
please limit your time to thirty minutes.
- Please give the right of way to students in a
lesson when sharing the arena.
- When going on trail, inform someone of where you
are going and approximately when you will be back. If no one is
on the premises, leave a note on the board.
- Please park only in designated areas. Do not
park on the gallop track or in aisleways.
- Please leave the halter provided for your horse on
the stall. In case of emergency, this halter will be used to
evacuate your horse.
- Please put your tack away after use. Please
do not borrow other people's tack or supplies without their
permission. This includes tack and supplies of Goldspirit Farm.
- Please clean-up after your horse in the cross-ties
and wash rack before leaving the area.
- All feed containers must be kept closed and in the
feed room.
- No containers or tack trunks may be kept in front
of your horse's stall. There is plenty of room in the tack room
for your tack and supplies.
- Please do not ride, mount, or dismount your horse
on the asphalt. Likewise, please do not tie your horse to the
tie-rails on the asphalt.
